Web Targeted Content

What does it cost to hire you?
A) There is never a charge to discuss your project. We will have a conversation about what services you are interested in. I will lead you through a list of targeted questions that will help me to understand what you would like to accomplish by using my services. I will present you with a written proposal. You are under no obligation to buy.
B) Every project is different in scope and need. Prices are set by how much research and reporting needs to be done to make sure I cover what information we need to make your project complete.

What is your average turnaround time?
I tend to have several projects in line most of the time, and I enjoy being busy. My time line is usually 2 to 3 weeks to accept new projects. I believe in setting and hitting deadlines. My average turn around time on general projects is two weeks.
Large or multi layered projects may take between 2 to 6 months.

I have a short deadline, can I jump the line?
Things happen and timelines change. I will do what I can to accommodate your project and your timeline. Be advised that there may be additional costs to do a "rush job".

What types of assignments do you handle?
You will find a list of offerings under the Services Page. If you do not find what you are looking for just send me a short email and we can discuss your needs. I love to do research and I am always looking for diversity in projects.

What happens if we want to revise content?
I go under the rule of two revisions. Requests must be made within a 30 day window of the original close date. This keeps everybody on task and keeps the project on track for both of us. As long as the scope of the project does not change these are done under the original amount agreed upon. Additional charges may apply if you do want to make significant changes. If we start with an honest dialog this should not happen. You are ultimately responsible for the final checking of all copy, design, and product information on the project.

Do you require a downpayment on projects?
I require 50% down to start a project and the balance due upon completion.

How do you approach projects?

  • Step 1 - I get to know you and a general overview of your business. I believe in partnerships. If I don't feel the project is well suited for me,
  • or you will   not get   the results you are looking for I will let you know my concerns upfront.

  • Step 2 - I will use several tools to audit, review data and trends, and construct a proposal that I will present to you to make sure we are on
  • the same path.

  • Step 3 - I will conduct content research. Content is the most important part of the entire process. It tells the world who you are, what you do,
  • and  what you are offering.

  • Step 4 - I will layout, develop, and review the information you provide as well as the research I have conducted and use that to build out the content that will be used to promote your project.

  • Step 5 - (This is a step if you are doing online and offline with the same project). Marketing, publicity and product launch. Using the research I have gathered I will advise you on the best way to present your offering using different forms of media.

  • Step 6 - Tracking, reviewing, reporting and revising. Many things in the web world take several months to actually provide information that is trackable. I will periodically check on the project in a 90 day window to make sure that things are going in the direction we both wanted them
  • to go in. I will send you updates that will let you know my findings.

Do you work with other web specialists?
Yes, I am always open to working with other professionals on a project. If you have someone that you are comfortable working with just let me know at the beginning of our dialog and I will be happy to incorporate them into the project.

Who do you work for?
This is one of the hardest concepts to explain to someone that is seeking the services I offer. The answer is you are paying me to work for your customers.  The objective is to have your customers find YOU and the PRODUCTS
they are looking for.

How can you improve my website?

First, I combine five key elements for successful content on your site. We call these the 5 C’s.

  • Customer-Centric: I use persuasive sales copywriting skills that focus on turning visitors into buyers
  • Competitive: I use relevant ethical SEO keywords along with persuasive sales copy to set you apart from your competition.
  • Clear: I use step by step instructions to optimize your site content with messages that connect to the search engines and your customers.
  • Conversion-optimized:  I use directives in the form of offers and links designed to generate action by the customers visiting your site.
  • Consistent: I use a consistent voice throughout the website to connect customers with your product offerings.

Second, I use a 31 point checklist to systematically go through your website so there is no guessing.

I use a consistent unbiased list of Best Practices to independently review every site I audit.

Third, I adhere to the Best Practices on the web as defined by Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.

What is your Privacy Policy?
Your information will be held in the strictest of confidence and will never be shared, traded or sold. I consider all information discussed or on your website proprietary.
